Membership
The core members of the Management Committee (MC) are the Project Lead, the Project Co-Lead, the Researcher Co-Lead and three representatives from CoSeC. This Core Team has managed CCC-ParaSolS during its initial phase, until the full MC has been assembled, and has prepared the terms of reference (ToR) of the MC.
The Management Committee is now being expanded by appointing 6 additional members from the community with the following constraints:
- at least 1 early-career representative
- at least 1 industry representative
- at least 1 member representing NERC-remit research
At least two of these six representatives will be women.
Who can apply?
All CCC-ParaSolS members are invited to apply through a self-nomination procedure. The Core Team will select the 6 additional MC members from the applications received based on application quality and diversity.
Committee duties
The MC shall approve all significant activities of the Project (e.g. training events and the content of the reports required as Project outputs). The MC will meet quarterly virtually and in hybrid mode at scheduled in-person events.
We will aim to achieve decisions via consensus. In the event of needing to take a vote, each Party shall have one vote in the MC.
