The information you provide will be used by members of the Management Committee to manage CCC-ParaSolS and organise associated events, e.g., to ensure a diverse attendance at each event. By completing the Stage 1 form for joining the CCC-ParaSolS community, you acknowledge that you are joining the mailing list for this project, and agree to receive appropriate e-mail communications relating to CCC-ParaSolS. You can unsubscribe from this mailing list anytime by following the link in the original subscription e-mail, use the Unsubscribe form or else e-mail parasols@ed.ac.uk to request this.
We will hold the personal data you provide to us only for the purposes of project administration and to send you communications relevant to CCC-ParaSolS or associated events. These data will be stored for a period of up to two years following the end of the project (where the project encompasses the current ‘Collaborative Computational Community’ and a potential follow-on ‘Collaborative Computational Project’). At any time, if you wish to leave the CCC-ParaSolS community and/or have the data you have provided deleted, e-mail parasols@ed.ac.uk with this request.
We do not use profiling or automated decision-making processes.
If you attend any events associated with CCC-ParaSolS, you consent to having your image captured in photography and/or video recordings for use in marketing and promotional communications thereafter. These include printed materials, websites and social media channels managed by the Management Committee and any local event organising partners.
Images will be held for as long as they are in use for promotional purposes, or until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent by e-mailing the contact named below on this Privacy Notice or speaking to one of the core members of the Management Committee at any event.
